Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization's talent acquisition strategy across all functions and levels. This role serves as the primary owner of the recruiting process, partnering closely with hiring managers and recruiting team to identify talent needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, attract high-quality candidates, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Leads full cycle recruiting for open positions across the organization, from intake and sourcing through first day onboarding
Responsible for executive and leadership roles, assists with additional hard to fill positions- acts as a player/coach.
Develop and continuously improve recruiting processes, standards, tools, and best practices by evaluating recruiting channels, vendors, and external partners to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge with AI tools.
Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, consistency, and candidate experience.
Build proactive talent pipelines for critical, high-volume, and difficult-to-fill positions.
Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen the company's ability to attract high-quality talent. Willingness to travel and improve community engagement.
Assess and improve recruiting practices across departments to adapt approaches to different talent markets and geographies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility across all levels of an organization.
Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, and talent evaluation skills.
Strong sourcing capabilities and curiosity about finding talent beyond traditional applicant channels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong business acumen
Data-driven mindset with the ability to use recruiting metrics to improve performance and inform decisions.
High degree of ownership, accountability, discretion, trust, and professionalism.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
5 years of managing a Talent Acquisition team, including significant full-cycle recruiting responsibility.
Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.
Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
Experience recruiting within manufacturing, distribution, engineering, construction, industrial, or other operational environments is a plus.
Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions is a plus.
