Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description:We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to join our metal shop team. * Use press brake, rollers, spot welders, rotary machines, and hand tools to fabricate sheet metal into functional parts for continued manufacturing or finished product. * Run equipment in balancing and forming area to create functional parts for continued manufacturing or finished product. Equipment includes mills, balancer, drill press, hand drills, pneumatic tools, and flanging machine.Expectations of the position: * Meet company standard times and produce high quality parts. * Willing and able to work OT as needed. * Be willing to work on any equipment or any job in the department as requested. * Work well in a fast-paced team environment. * Must like to work with their hands and be comfortable around machinery. * Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance, and team lift to 100 lbs. * Carry out tasks issued by manager or designate. * Comply with all safety regulations and recommendations. * Reinforce and role model company values, including excellent customer service. * Able to appropriately and effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and managers. * Perform other duties as assigned.Education & Previous Experience Requirements * High School Diploma or (GED). * Required: Minimum of 3 years of previous work experience * Preferred: 2 years previous fabrication, machining, and/or operation of CNC equipment (rollers, brakes, etc.) experienceAdditional Information * Job Type: Full-time * Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour * Shift availability: Monday Friday Day shift (required), occasional overtime available * Work location: In person * Benefits: 401(k) with company match, health, dental, vision, company provided life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance, supplemental insurances available, EAP program, pet insurance and pet wellness programs, discount programs, vacation and sick time, 8 paid holidays per year, and monthly/annual bonus potential based on company performancePlease note that the posted pay range is a good faith estimate and may vary within the range based on qualifications such as experience and education level.It is Oneida Air Systems policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all qualified individuals.
