Job Summary
Under general supervision initiates, assesses, and evaluates all forms of respiratory therapy including bronchodilators, chest physical therapy, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive and invasive ventilator care. Exercises technical knowledge in respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology as well as the design and operations of all respiratory therapy equipment. The RCP demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to neonates, infants, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Job Qualifications

Licensure- TMB respiratory care practitioner license required

Special Qualifications- CRT through the National Board of Respiratory Care

Certifications Required- BCLS, ACLS and PALS

Experience- Previous experience in provision of hospital respiratory care services preferred
