Full job description
Rainbow Signs is looking for a dependable, hardworking, safety-minded Sign Installer to join our installation and service team. This is a hands-on construction and installation position---not a truck-driving or hauling position. A CDL Class B license is required to operate our crane trucks used for sign installation. If you enjoy working with your hands and have experience in welding, electrical work, construction, mechanical work, or equipment operation, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do - Install, repair, and service commercial signs and lighting - Operate crane trucks, 40'+ bucket trucks, and aerial lifts - Perform welding, fabrication, and hands-on installation work - Work safely at heights of 40+ feet - Use hand and power tools - Complete work orders using a smartphone - Travel to job sites, including occasional out-of-town work - Provide professional customer service - Follow all company safety procedures Required Qualifications - Valid CDL Class B license - Welding experience - Electrical and/or construction experience - Experience with hand and power tools - Ability to work safely at heights of 40+ feet - Clean driving record - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn - Reliable, dependable, and safety-minded Preferred Qualifications - Sign installation experience - Crane Operator Certification - Electrical, fabrication, or mechanical experience - Experience with LED lighting or electrical sign systems - Commercial construction experience Benefits: - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Tools provided - Vision insurance Experience: Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required) - Sign Installation: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: - CDL B (Required) Work Location: In person
