Full job description
Description We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to support a short-term contract assignment in Texas. In this role, you will evaluate and revise construction-related agreements to help protect business interests, reduce contractual exposure, and keep documentation aligned with project needs. This position is well suited for an organized individual who can work quickly, communicate clearly, and manage contract review activities within a three-week engagement.
Responsibilities:

Examine construction agreements, subcontract documents, work orders, and related records to assess terms and prepare contract revisions

Mark up and refine contract language to address legal, commercial, and operational concerns in construction-focused documents

Spot unusual provisions, conflicting clauses, and areas of contractual risk, then escalate or recommend practical solutions

Advise on updates to important terms such as indemnity, insurance obligations, payment structure, scope changes, schedule impacts, and dispute handling

Coordinate with internal teams to move agreements through review efficiently and support timely execution

Verify that contract content aligns with company standards, project expectations, and applicable business requirements

Provide administrative support for contract files, supporting documentation, and related agreement tracking as needed Requirements • Prior experience in a contracts, legal support, or contract administration role, preferably in construction-related environments

Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and revise construction contracts with a strong understanding of contract language

Knowledge of common construction terms, risk allocation concepts, and standard commercial provisions

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of review work under tight deadlines

Clear written communication skills and strong organizational ability

Availability to commit to a three-week Contract assignment

Experience with contract administration, contract management, negotiations, bid-related processes, or contract pricing is beneficial
