Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a NITC Curriculum Manager to lead the design, development, maintenance, and evaluation of training programs supporting international military students at the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity International Training Center. This position will be located in Pensacola, FL and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities
The role partners with instructors and Government stakeholders to keep curricula current, instructionally sound, and aligned with identified competencies and performance requirements.
Responsibilities

Manage the design and development of training programs, curricula, instructional methods, and learning materials.

Oversee skills assessments and gather stakeholder input to identify training needs, performance gaps, learning goals, and development requirements.

Consult with instructors and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and develop appropriate course content and instructional strategies.

Develop and maintain curricula aligned to defined competency models or skill frameworks in accordance with the NAVEDTRA M-142 (series).
-
Develop or oversee course outlines, syllabi, lecture notes, instructor materials, online learning content, and self-study materials.
-
Participate in the evaluation and selection of software and collaboration tools used to support training.

Provide the Government with a monthly report identifying curricula that require updates.

Establish training-effectiveness metrics, analyze outcomes, and recommend course changes to the NITC Officer in Charge, Deputy Officer in Charge, and Contracting Officer's Representative.

Provide administrative support associated with curriculum and training operations as required by the task order.

Qualifications
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required: Secret
-
Master's degree in education or a closely related field and at least three years of curriculum-development experience; or a bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field and at least five years of curriculum-development experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, developing, maintaining, and evaluating instructor-led or technology-enabled training.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with instructors, subject matter experts, and Government stakeholders.
-
Ability to produce clear reports, curriculum documentation, and recommendations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
-
Experience supporting Department of War or military education and training programs.
-
Experience developing training for international military students or culturally diverse audiences.
-
Experience applying competency models, training metrics, and outcome analysis to curriculum decisions.
