Job Description

Duties:

  • Commits to the mission and vision of the organization;

  • Coordinates the daily operations of the office and staff;

  • Provides information via phone, email and WhatsApp to clients;

  • Translates (oral and written) for the clients, which are 98% Spanish-speaking;

  • Creates mailers in English and Spanish and handles the distribution for activities and events;

  • Coordinates Master Schedule for meetings and meeting space;

  • Maintains and enhances the organization website;

  • Offers technical support to teachers, assistants and students in classes;

  • Attends committee meetings and take photographs at events;

  • Translates original documents for clients and provides translation services for clients;

  • Assists neighbors in completing government- federal and state applications as well as other applications; and,

  • Oversees and monitors Social Media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • 12 months of experience in a position serving and interacting with the community.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, writing and speaking.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs

  • Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Wordpress for website)
