Microsoft Intune & Apple MDM Administrator Position Overview
Play a key role in managing and securing enterprise mobile and desktop device infrastructure through Microsoft Intune and Apple device management technologies. This position focuses on end-to-end mobile device lifecycle management, including device enrollment, provisioning, policy configuration, application deployment, update management, troubleshooting, and remote operational support.
The role involves managing day-to-day Intune and Apple device operations, resolving technical issues, maintaining device inventory, and supporting operational transitions.
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day Microsoft Intune and Apple device operations.
-
Support device enrollment, provisioning, application deployment, and troubleshooting.
-
Resolve iOS activation, Wi-Fi, VPN, certificate, and compliance issues.
-
Maintain device inventory and manage device replacements and retirement activities.
-
Coordinate carrier and vendor escalations.
-
Handle operational incidents and customer communications.
-
Participate in incumbent knowledge transfer (KT), documentation, and phased takeover activities.
Required Qualifications
-
Experience in Microsoft Intune administration and enterprise mobility support.
-
Hands-on knowledge of Apple Business Manager (ABM) and iOS/iPadOS device management.
-
Experience with Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) and device provisioning.
-
Knowledge of device configuration, compliance policies, and application deployment.
-
Experience troubleshooting iOS activation, connectivity, and application issues.
-
Understanding of mobile device lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, replacement, and retirement.
-
Experience with incident, service request, and escalation management.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with SIM/eSIM activation and carrier coordination.
-
Knowledge of Apple certificates, enrollment tokens, and Apps and Books licensing.

Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID fundamentals.
-
Experience with mobile inventory and device-user-number mapping.
-
Awareness of Smarsh mobile capture.
-
Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes.
Technical Skills & Certifications
-
Microsoft Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
-
Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), and APNs.
-
iOS/iPadOS enterprise device support.
Preferred Certifications / Training:
-
Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
-
Apple Device Support / Apple Deployment and Management training or certification.
Optional Certification:
- ITIL Foundation.
