Protecting people, operations, and critical assets is at the heart of this Environmental Health and Safety Specialist role within the Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit. You will help strengthen a proactive culture of environmental, health, safety, and security excellence while supporting zero-harm goals, regulatory readiness, operational resilience, and environmental sustainability. Your work will directly influence how safely and efficiently electrical products are manufactured and how confidently employees, customers, and partners rely on our facility. This opportunity is based at our manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, in an on-site environment, reporting to the EHS Team Lead and collaborating with cross-functional operations teams.

We are hiring for both 1st Shift and 2nd Shift.

You will make an impact by:

  • Maintainsite compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 1910standards, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, and allapplicable federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Manage sitesecurity protocols, including access control, visitor management,closed-circuit television (CCTV), alarm monitoring, and coordination withthird-party guard services to protect employees and company assets.

  • Coordinatewith external security vendors and third-party guard services to support siteintegrity, service quality, and asset protection.

  • Conductroutine workplace safety and security inspections, hazard assessments,ergonomic reviews, and environmental monitoring; document findings and trackcorrective actions through closure.

  • Supportinvestigations of workplace incidents, near misses, security breaches, andenvironmental releases; gather relevant information and assist with root causeanalysis (RCA).

  • Deliver safetyand security training, including new-hire orientations, toolbox talks, andspecialized regulatory training related to personal protective equipment (PPE),hazard communication, lockout/tagout (LOTO), emergency preparedness, and sitesecurity.

  • Maintain accurate EHS and security records, compile performance metrics, andprepare reports for operations leadership and regulatory agencies usingMicrosoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Supportsite-wide initiatives involving PPE compliance, waste management, ergonomics,environmental sustainability, LOTO, hazard communication, and emergencypreparedness.

  • Other duties as assigned.

You’ll win us over by havingthe following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in occupational healthand safety, environmental science, or a related field; alternatively, have atleast 2 years of direct Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or securityexperience in an assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

  • Have 2+ years of experience or practicalexposure to EHS and physical security programs in a manufacturing, assembly, orwarehouse environment.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA 1910standards, EPA regulations, and general industrial safety practices.

  • Have foundational knowledge of physical securityprinciples, access control systems, visitor management, CCTV, and alarmmonitoring.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Have the ability to build effective workingrelationships with employees, supervisors, leaders, vendors, andcross-functional operations teams.

  • Be willing and able to travel less than 5% asrequired. (Minimal travel expected)

  • Be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

  • Equivalent combinations of education, safety training, certifications, and relevant EHS experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have successfully supported EHS programs in aunionized manufacturing environment, including collaboration with unionrepresentatives and frontline employees.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001management systems.

  • Hold an active OSHA 30-Hour General Industrycertification.

  • Demonstrate strong technical writing skills,including the ability to develop clear and concise EHS and security procedures.

  • Have experience supporting incidentinvestigations, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, environmentalmonitoring, or regulatory audit preparation.

  • Demonstrate experience preparing EHS andsecurity metrics, regulatory reports, or leadership presentations
