Join the team as a Production Supervisor We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and motivate our production team at the Sterling, MA blown film facility. You'll coordinate and direct daily production activities to drive operational efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and consistently deliver high-quality products while developing a skilled, engaged workforce. The Schedule Full-time, on-site in Sterling, MA. Rotating 12-hour night shift, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. What You'll Do - Directly supervise a team of 20 to 30 hourly employees - Proactively lead plant safety, housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives to meet departmental goals - Ensure compliance with all Amcor, local, state, and federal requirements, including EHS, Quality, and HR standards - Implement and enforce company policies, quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) - Maintain compliance with customer quality and production standards - Promptly address and resolve mechanical, operational, and technical downtime issues - Oversee timely completion of documentation, schedules, work orders, and related records - Sustain and improve production throughput while partnering with the Production Manager to control direct labor costs - Set and monitor operating targets based on machine capability, workforce capacity, and business demand - Train, motivate, and mentor employees; support on-the-job training and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For - Four-year degree or equivalent applicable work experience - 3+ years of supervisory experience with a strong background in production floor supervision - Proven problem-solving, results orientation, and sound decision-making - Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JDE, and Teams - Excellent verbal and written communication across all organizational levels and diverse cultural backgrounds, including colleagues with English as a second language - Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team - Flexible availability to work any shift as required, including weekends and holidays Bonus Points For - Blown film industry experience - Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies Physical Requirements - Able to work at heights up to four stories - Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and crawl for extended periods multiple times per shift - Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted - Able to wear PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, gloves, and bump cap - Able to work in warm, humid, and cool climates for 12 or more hours per shift Compensation & Benefits - Starting salary expected between $75,000 and $80,000; base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience - Eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan, an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance - Medical, dental, and vision plans; HSA/FSA - Flexible time off starting at 80 hours paid per year for full-time salaried employees - Company-paid holidays starting at 8 days per year (may vary by location) - Wellbeing program & Employee Assistance Program - Life insurance, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability, voluntary benefits - Paid parental leave; Retirement Savings Plan with company match - Tuition reimbursement (upon approval) Amcor is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
