The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking aRegional Field Applications Engineerto work remote from a home office.

TheRegional Field Applications Engineer will engage customers in technical discussions to generate new business opportunities.

The key responsibilities of theRegional Field Applications Engineerinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Engage with Product Marketing, Sales and Customers to quickly generate product design solutions

  • Build responsive technical relationships with our customers

  • Data analytics – market and technology research

  • General understanding of internal and vendor manufacturing capabilities

  • Provide input for product manufacturing and testing requirements

  • Interface with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer requirements

  • Interpret customer and internal drawings and 3D files

  • Communicate conceptual designs to customers and internal manufacturing

  • Review customer documents for compliance with Amphenol Aerospace Operations (AAO) requirements

  • Understand financial cost / pricing of AAO products

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of aRegional Field Applications Engineerat Amphenol Aerospace:

  • B.S degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering preferred

  • Should have the ability to work with CAD and ProE applications for design

  • Requires an ability to work with internal and external cross-functional Engineering and Manufacturing teams

  • Must have the ability to communicate design advantages of Amphenol products to customers and communicate the customers' needs to internal Design and Manufacturing groups

  • Must be capable of redlining designs to meet customer requirements

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally; average travel 25 – 50%

  • Ability to work in a desk / office setting
