Our mission is to expand access to high-quality, evidence-based services that are person-centered, trauma-informed, and accessible to all.

As a Program Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting statewide substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment programs by overseeing program implementation, monitoring contracts and performance, and advancing quality improvement efforts. You will also contribute to the planning and implementation of federal and state funding initiatives that support these essential services, prepare routine, specialized, and technical reports on program activities, and collaborate with others to strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes for individuals and families across the Commonwealth. If you are passionate about supporting recovery, improving access to care, and making a lasting impact in your community, we invite you to be part of our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical assistance and implementation support to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment providers, community mental health centers (CMHCs), and other community partners on evidence-based practices, program requirements, service expectations, and other assigned SUD program needs.

  • Serve as the liaison between the CMHC's SUD treatment directors and the division.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on established performance indicators and measures associated with contracted services and deliverables to comply with federal and state funding requirements and support program performance and quality improvement.

  • Provide oversight through monitoring and review of contract deliverables and budget parameters, including invoice approval review, data collection and analysis for the Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP), Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP) funding for CMHCs, and miscellaneous contracts.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience in substance use disorder treatment or other clinical services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise.

  • Time management skills and self-motivated to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Goal-oriented and motivated to assist the division in program improvement.
