QA/QC Coordinator - Pecos, Texas (Job Number: 319571)

Job Overview: As an Electrical QA/QC Coordinator, you will support the implementation and execution of quality assurance and quality control processes for electrical construction activities on an industrial project. Working under the direction of the QA/QC Supervisor, you will assist with inspections, documentation, turnover packages, and verification of electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Position is available in Pecos, Texas

Compensation : $50/hour

Schedule : Monday-Saturday, 10 hours per day (6/10 schedule)

Per Diem: For eligible travelers, a per diem of $200 per day worked is available. Restrictions apply.

Job Functions:

  • Support the QA/QC Supervisor with daily quality control activities and project documentation.

  • Perform and document field inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and tracking of inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and turnover documentation.

  • Review electrical installations including conduit, cable tray, equipment setting, cable pulls, terminations, grounding, and electrical equipment installation.

  • Coordinate and document quality inspections with field supervision, subcontractors, clients, and third-party inspectors.

  • Track quality deficiencies, punch list items, and corrective actions through completion.

  • Assist in maintaining inspection records, test reports, redline drawings, turnover packages, and quality documentation.

  • Support pre-functional and functional testing activities for electrical systems and equipment.

  • Verify installation and documentation of MCCs, switchgear, transformers, panels, VFDs, and related electrical equipment.

  • Participate in quality meetings and assist in communicating quality requirements to field teams.

  • Ensure all quality-related activities are performed in accordance with project requirements, client specifications, and applicable industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical construction, quality control, commissioning, testing, or a related industrial construction role.

  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and installation practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams.

  • Experience reviewing quality documentation, inspection reports, and turnover packages.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to work effectively with field supervision, craft personnel, clients, and third-party inspectors.

  • Valid driver's license required.
