Job Duties
Join Our Team
Beltrami Electric Cooperative is seeking a full-time detail-oriented and member-focused Member Accounts Representative I, to support member billing, account administration, service-order processing, payment activities, capital credits, and records management. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members while ensuring billing accuracy and efficient cooperative operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, responsive, and committed to providing outstanding member service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate billing and member account records.

Process service orders, meter changes, connects/disconnects, and new services.

Support payments, collections, deposits, and account reconciliation.

Assist with capital credits, process estate retirements.

Respond to member inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
Minimum Education Required
- Degree or certificate in a related field preferred; or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience Required
-
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Experience with customer or member accounts, billing, payment processing, data entry, records administration.
