Location: Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden. Salary: - $18.00/hour. - This position is not eligible for benefits. Hours Per Day: Terms of Employment: - Positions available during the regular school year. Reports To: - Director of Communications and Safety/Building Principal. - Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board of Educations policy on the evaluation of personnel. Job Duties: - Reports to parents, school personnel, physicians, clinics, and other agencies on school medical matters. - Assumes responsibility for the first aid care of a student or staff member who has suffered injury or illness - Provides health education on an individual basis. - Visits home of students when necessary or when referred by principals. - Advises on modification of the educational program to meet health needs of individual students. - Advises teachers on health matters, particularly regarding screening for student health problems. - Interprets laws relating to school health. - Assists school personnel in establishing healthy conditions in schools. - Performs other duties as assigned. **FLSA Status:**Non-Exempt.
