Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will be responsible for assisting all aspects of the planning, managing, coordinating, and evaluating training, education, and outreach for integrated prevention programs.
  • You will You will maintain program and administrative reference materials, project and program files, available policies, procedures, and written instructions.
  • You will support implementation and participate in prevention programs and related program management activities.
  • You will review and coordinate prevention actions and projects across programs to ensure completion dates are met within established timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying social science frameworks to evaluate, consult, and advise on integrated prevention programs that promote healthy, resilient climates across diverse settings. Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of management, staff, and military personnel. Experience using various automated systems and software to collect and organize data from databases. Experience composing clear and concise written reports and material. Education

Basic Requirements: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position for the GS-11 position: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
