Job Description
Position Overview
- We are seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Azure Platform Engineer to help design, build, and scale a modern Azure platform supporting enterprise applications, data initiatives, and continued business growth. This role is approximately 80% new engineering/build work and 20% support. The engineer will work closely with platform, application, data, security, and IT operations teams to build secure, automated, governed, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities -Design, build, and enhance enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure platforms and infrastructure. -Build and modernize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. -Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform. -Automate application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and platform configuration. -Engineer solutions with security, governance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency built in from day one. -Partner with application and data teams, including supporting Databricks and SaaS environments. -Apply platform engineering and DevOps practices across new initiatives and existing environments. -Support identity and access requirements involving Microsoft Entra ID. -Own technical solutions from architecture and design through implementation and operational support. -Help establish reusable templates, standards, and engineering practices that enable teams to deploy consistently at scale.

-5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience -Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code experience -Deep Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline engineering experience -Enterprise Platform / Infrastructure Engineering experience -Strong automation and configuration management background -Databricks infrastructure/platform exposure -AI-enabled platform experience -SaaS platform engineering -Enterprise security and DevSecOps experience -Monitoring and observability tooling -Experience supporting acquisition or multi-environment integrations -Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
