  • Design integration patterns using Service Graph Connectors, REST APIs, import sets, and transform maps

  • Build reconciliation and identification rules that keep CMDB data accurate and prevent duplicate records

  • Define controlled data ingestion and evidence integration patterns that support governance and audit needs

  • Design error handling and monitoring so integrations stay reliable and issues are resolved quickly

  • Hands-on experience with Service Graph, REST APIs, import sets, transform maps, and data reconciliation

  • Strong knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CMDB, identification rules, and duplicate prevention

  • Experience defining controlled data ingestion and evidence patterns

These will help you stand out

  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery or Service Mapping, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
