Full job description

Cut/Sand Associate Location: Springfield, Ohio Pay: $17.50 per hour Shift: Monday--Thursday, 4:00 PM--2:30 AM ### Position Summary We are seeking a Cut/Sand Associate to support production operations at a manufacturing facility specializing in fiberglass and composite products. This position involves cutting, sanding, and finishing composite materials to meet production specifications and quality standards. ### Job Duties - Cut fiberglass and composite materials to required specifications - Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare products for finishing - Operate cutting and sanding equipment safely - Inspect finished products for defects and quality concerns - Measure materials to ensure accuracy - Handle and organize materials throughout the production process - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow established safety and production procedures ### Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Ability to stand for extended periods - Comfortable performing repetitive cutting and sanding tasks - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment - Strong attention to detail - High school diploma or GED required - Steel-toed shoes required
