About the Job You're Considering

As AI reshapes how financial institutions operate, compete, manage risk, and serve customers, we are evolving our consulting model to be AI-enabled by design. We are looking for leaders and consultants who combine deep industry knowledge, business and technology transformation experience, and the judgment to apply AI responsibly to measurable client outcomes.

Within Capgemini Invent’s Financial Services industry team, we help banks, payments providers, card issuers, and asset and wealth managers address complex strategic and operational challenges. Our work spans enterprise modernization, operating model transformation, digital change, and AI-enabled transformation across business and technology.

Your Role

As a Managing Consultant in our Financial Services industry team, focused on the Banking sector, you will manage workstreams and smaller engagements within complex transformation programs. You will advise business and technology leaders, connect business priorities with technology and AI opportunities, and lead workstreams and blended teams of consultants, business specialists, technologists, and analysts. You will be expected to translate complex challenges into practical transformation agendas and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advise business and technology leaders on enterprise, digital, operating model, modernization, and AI-enabled transformation priorities.

  • Lead workstreams and blended teams of consultants, business specialists, technologists, and analysts, maintaining clear accountability for outcomes, quality, delivery discipline, stakeholder alignment, and risk management.

  • Apply deep understanding of the relevant value chain, operating model, products, customer journeys, risk and control environment, and supporting technology landscape to shape practical strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and implementation approaches.

  • Provide AI-fluent leadership across strategy, use-case prioritization, business-case development, deployment considerations, responsible AI, and governance.

  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solution shaping, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

  • Bring together business, technology, data, design, and implementation perspectives to create integrated solutions and sustainable client value.

  • Coach junior team members and support capability development, fostering collaboration, inclusion, quality, and continuous learning.

  • Contribute to market offerings, thought leadership, recruiting, and the continued growth of Capgemini Invent’s Financial Services capabilities.

Your Skills + Experience

You combine relevant industry depth, consulting judgment, transformation delivery capability, and AI fluency. You can connect strategic intent to practical execution while building trusted relationships and helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including experience at a Big Four firm or leading advisory or strategy consultancy.

  • Deep experience in one or more of the following: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Payments, Cards, Asset Management, or Wealth Management.

  • Strong understanding of platform and data ecosystems such as Aladdin, Broadridge, Bloomberg, FIS, and comparable banking or capital-markets solutions.

  • Experience delivering enterprise, digital, modernization, operating model, or technology and AI-led transformation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including the ability to connect AI strategy and use cases to business value, delivery requirements, risk, and governance.

  • Strong structured problem-solving, executive communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience managing workstreams or smaller engagements, coordinating blended teams, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Experience contributing to proposals, solution development, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

Preferred Experience

  • An advanced degree is preferred, ideally an MBA or comparable area of study.
