The Role As Office and Communication Coordinator, you are often the first and last interaction families and contacts have with the studio each day. You set the tone with clear communication, patience, follow-through, and care. Hours Monday-Thursday 4:00-9:30pm Saturday 9:00am-12:30pm Responsibilities 1. Welcome students, parents, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and clarity. 2. Manage scheduling, class check-ins, client and family phone calls, emails, family questions, and internal updates. 3. Guide families and prospects with timely organizational information and updates. 4. Keep the front desk and office organized and help the studio run smoothly, especially during busy hours. 5. Support instructors so classes begin on time and families receive consistent information. 6. Assist with website updates, public relations communication, and basic administrative tasks as needed. The Qualities That Matter Most Steady: You stay calm, grounded, and helpful when things get busy. Attentive: You notice details, anticipate needs, and follow through without being reminded. Warm: People feel comfortable asking you questions because you listen and respond with care. Responsible: You take ownership of what needs to be done, even when no one is watching. Clear: You communicate kindly, directly, and consistently with families, staff, and instructors. Thorough: Dependable to complete assignments accurately Qualifications Strong communication in person, by phone, and by email. Organization, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple priorities. Basic administrative ability and comfort with schedules, simple computer and website software, and office tools. Dance organization background is helpful, but genuine care for people and community is essential.
