Position Overview
The Senior Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end fulfillment process to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with customer requirements. This role serves as the primary liaison between Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, and Customers to proactively manage order execution, resolve issues, and drive delivery performance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional customer focus, and extensive experience managing complex orders in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction while balancing production schedules, material availability, and business objectives.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM
Responsibilities
Order Management & Fulfillment

Manage customer orders from order entry through shipment and delivery.

Monitor order status, schedule adherence, and fulfillment milestones to ensure on-time delivery.

Review customer requirements and coordinate execution across manufacturing and supply chain functions.

Identify potential delivery risks and proactively implement corrective actions.

Work closely with production planning teams to prioritize and expedite critical customer orders.
Customer Support & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, and fulfillment concerns.

Provide timely and accurate updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

Resolve customer inquiries, scheduling conflicts, and fulfillment issues.

Support escalation management for high-priority customer delivery concerns.

Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to support order fulfillment objectives.

Coordinate engineering changes, special requests, and configuration requirements to minimize delivery impacts.

Facilitate communication between functional teams to resolve shortages, production constraints, and shipping challenges.

Participate in production and fulfillment review meetings to ensure alignment on customer commitments.
Delivery & Logistics Management

Monitor shipment schedules and transportation activities to support timely deliveries.

Coordinate with logistics providers and shipping teams to address transportation issues.

Track and communicate shipment status and delivery performance metrics.

Support export, documentation, and compliance requirements when applicable.

Ensure fulfillment activities comply with company policies and customer requirements.
Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Analyze order fulfillment data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Develop reports and metrics related to on-time delivery, backlog management, and customer service performance.

Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance fulfillment processes and customer satisfaction.

Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of supply chain experience
OR
- Master's degree and no experience
OR
- At least 3 years of supply chain experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Ability to manage customer orders from receipt through shipment while ensuring on-time delivery.

Proficiency using ERP or similar systems for order management, inventory transactions, and fulfillment tracking.

Strong Excel and reporting skills to analyze order status, delivery performance, and fulfillment metrics.

Salary Minimum: USD $62,400.00/Yr.
Salary Maximum: USD $93,600.00/Yr.
