Description

SAIC is seeking Material Coordinator for our customer site in Hanahan, SC.

The Material Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Receiving material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in. Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed.

  • Coordinating and expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.

  • Compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck.

  • Maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint.

This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.

  • Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
