Purchasing Section Manager

Purchasing Section Manager Full Time Bucyrus, OH, US ? IB-Tech is seeking an experienced Purchasing Section Manager to lead and support our Purchasing Department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving cost improvement initiatives, overseeing purchasing strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of materials to support production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing purchasing, supplier management, commercial relations, and/or production control , along with proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills. This position plays a key role in developing supplier strategies, improving operational performance, supporting new product launches, and ensuring compliance with company and ISO requirements. Position Details: - Classification: Manager - Pay: Starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications - Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Position - Travel Requirements: Moderate travel required, approximately 25% per month, with additional travel as needed based on business requirements - Reports To: Leadership Team - Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees and supports 1--4 associates Education & Experience Requirements: - Associate degree (AS) in a related field with 3+ years of job-specific experience managing manufacturing purchasing, commercial relations, and/or production control; or - High School Diploma with 5+ years of related manufacturing purchasing, commercial relations, and/or production control experience - Strong analytical abilities with the ability to work independently and manage confidential information - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and accounting software Primary Roles & Responsibilities []{style="font- "}
