Case Worker

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Pay: $27 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Los Angeles, CA

The Caseworker is responsible for helping adults, children and families find and obtain government resources like healthcare services, financial aid or counseling. Duties include meeting with clients to identify their needs, using resources in the government, healthcare and financial service industries to offer assistance to their clients/patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School or GED required

  • 1+ year’s professional experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational andprioritization skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences preferred

  • Familiarity with Medicaid rules and regulations preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
