Full job description
Seeking a compassionate, dependable Partime/PRN- LPN to join our team. Provide safe, compassionate nursing services to adults attending a medical-model adult day health program. Work within the Missouri LPN scope of practice, under appropriate direction and supervision, and in accordance with facility policies and applicable requirements. · Observe participants' health status, recognize changes, promptly report concerns, and document findings accurately. · Administer medications and treatments as authorized, following provider orders, applicable nursing requirements, and facility procedures. · Perform appropriate nursing assessments/data collection and contribute to participant care planning under RN direction. · Monitor vital signs, respond to illness or emergencies, initiate appropriate emergency procedures, and communicate with the RN, emergency services, families, and providers as appropriate. · Maintain accurate, timely, confidential nursing and medication records; report incidents and medication errors promptly. · Coordinate with direct support, transportation, and dietary staff regarding participant health and safety needs. · Follow infection prevention, universal precautions, medication security, HIPAA, abuse reporting, and facility policies. · Participate in required orientation, training, and quality-improvement activities. · Current, unrestricted Missouri LPN license or other valid authorization to practice in Missouri. · Current CPR certification appropriate to the role; ability to respond to medical emergencies. · Experience with older adults, adults with disabilities, dementia, or adult day health preferred. · Strong documentation, communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills. ## Attendance and Scheduling Expectations · Requires flexiblity and reliability .Must report for scheduled shifts on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Must be flexible to work additional hours or shifts based on operational needs
