Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR activities for a small organization. This contract position is ideal for someone who can independently manage day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership on workforce planning and organizational priorities. The role requires hands-on experience across benefits administration, payroll processing, compliance, recruiting, and employee support, along with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily human resources operations, serving as the primary contact for HR-related questions and employee support needs.

Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, updates, and issue resolution, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.

Process payroll and maintain accurate records related to compensation, deductions, and time-sensitive employee data.

Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, from job posting and candidate coordination through offer support, onboarding, and new employee integration.

Maintain HR records and system data ensuring information is current, organized, and compliant with company requirements.

Support compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices through audits, recordkeeping, and process oversight.

Partner with leaders across departments to align HR initiatives with business goals and workforce needs.

Coordinate onboarding and other employee lifecycle activities to create a smooth and positive experience from onboarding through ongoing employment
Requirements

Proven experience as an HR Generalist supporting multiple core human resources functions with minimal supervision.

Strong background in benefits administration, payroll processing, and HR compliance.

Demonstrated ability to lead full-cycle recruiting and manage onboarding for new employees.

Knowledge of employee relations practices and confidence handling routine HR matters with professionalism and discretion.

Ability to balance strategic collaboration with hands-on execution in a standalone or highly independent HR role.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
