Position Overview

International is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Lisle, Il

Reporting to the Used Truck Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst owns the day-to-day financial planning, analysis, and management reporting for the Used Truck Organization, a business unit with approximately $150 million in annual revenue. The role partners with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and field Business Managers to explain performance and inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans covering five- and ten-year horizons for sales cost of goods sold, and inventory.

  • Coordinate business inputs, maintain financial models, and validate assumptions with the Controller and business leaders.

  • Analyze monthly results against budget, forecast, and prior periods; explain key drivers and identify financial risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

  • Work with New Truck and Used Truck Pricing teams to forecast trade-in volumes, receipt timing, and values, and explain variances from expectations.

  • Assess the financial impact of inventory mix, sales channels, pricing, and market conditions. Perform scenario and ad hoc analyses to support operating and strategic decisions.

  • Prepare and present financial reports and leadership presentations that clearly explain results, outlook, and business implications.

  • Partner with Accounting, Operations, and field Business Managers to validate financial and operating data, investigate discrepancies, and maintain consistency between reports and underlying records.

  • Improve recurring models and reporting processes to reduce manual work and improve accuracy and timeliness, using automation and approved AI tools where appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of finance and general accounting experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 1 year of finance and general accounting experience

OR

  • At least 5 years of finance and general accounting experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to connect operating assumptions to financial results and challenge assumptions constructively.

  • Ability to translate complex financial information into concise explanations and practical recommendations for financial and nonfinancial audiences.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; working proficiency in Word.

  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines and competing requests independently, adapt to changing priorities, and raise issues or capacity constraints promptly.

  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when working with incomplete or inconsistent information.

  • Effective collaboration across functions and locations, with the confidence to uphold International’s financial policies and process requirements.

  • Willingness to learn and apply automation and AI tools, while validating outputs.

Salary Minimum: USD $82,400.00/Yr.

Salary Maximum: USD $123,600.00/Yr.
