The job details are as follows:

Who We Are

We are the first publicly-traded biotech or pharmaceutical company to take the form of a public benefit corporation. Our public benefit purpose is to provide a brighter future for patients through the development of novel pharmaceutical therapies; and technologies that expand the availability of transplantable organs.

United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) seeks to travel down the corridors of indifference to develop treatments for rare, deadly diseases. We were founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for their daughter’s pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Today, we have six FDA-approved therapies that treat PAH, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) and neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Our near-term pipeline seeks to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF).

The cure for end-stage life-threatening diseases like PAH, PH-ILD, PF, and many others is an organ transplant, but only a small percentage of donated organs are available to address the vast need. For this reason, we are working to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers available for transplant. We believe an unlimited supply of tolerable, transplantable organs will eliminate the transplant waiting list and cure end-stage organ diseases for which transplant is not currently an option.

Who You Are

You’re a systems-savvy problem solver who thrives on building structure from the ground up. Whether it’s configuring SAP BOMs or inventory workflows, you know how to translate operational needs into streamlined, accurate data systems that drive production forward. You bring hands-on experience with inventory management and database tools, and you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-evolving manufacturing environment. You take ownership of your work, enjoy building relationships, communicate clearly across departments, and always stay a step ahead to ensure critical materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

  • Create and process the stock transport orders (STO) for the transfer of third party manufactured or packaged products to the RTP site(s) or STOs for the shipment of UT product to external partners

  • Coordinate and oversee the procurement and stocking of consumable supplies used in site production and other activities

  • Coordinate activities required for implementation of new SAP plant

  • Create SAP process orders and assist with scheduling and planning for manufacturing and packaging process orders to support the DPI site production and packaging activities

  • Communicate with purchasing group as needed to track material deliveries and notify applicable parties of any significant issues affecting the supply chain

  • Work as an integral team member with manufacturing, materials, and quality groups to assure that the material needs of the departments are being ordered in a timely manner

  • Track GMP and expensed material stock levels

  • Monitor manufacturing production schedule to monitor drug product batch yields

  • Track material inventory levels maintained within SAP

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain / inventory management role, or

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with SAP
