About Truleo
TRULEO is an intelligence platform trusted by more than 1,000 law enforcement agencies. Designed to support investigations, TRULEO automates critical workflows and helps departments solve more cases by securely accessing department data, connecting the dots, surfacing new leads, and generating solvability scores.
Intelligence that Solves Cases Faster.
Made in the USA, TRULEO is FBI CJIS and SOC 2 compliant and is included in the FBI National Academy curriculum in Quantico, Virginia.
We are headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, and are growing our sales team to keep pace with demand from agencies nationwide.
The Role
We are hiring a Pre-Sales Manager with a law enforcement background to be the first face of Truleo for agencies across the country. Our SDRs book the meetings; you run them. You will deliver up to seven intro presentations and demos a day to chiefs, sheriffs, investigators, and command staff, showing them how Truleo fits into the way their people actually work cases.
What You Will Do
-
Deliver up to 7 virtual intro presentations and demos per day to law enforcement leaders and investigators.
-
Tell the Truleo story in the agency's language: real investigative workflows, real case examples, real pain.
-
Run discovery inside each meeting: current systems (RMS, CAD, BWC, jail calls), case volume, staffing, decision-makers, budget, and timeline.
-
Qualify every meeting and hand off clean opportunities to Account Executives, with notes logged in HubSpot the same day.
-
Handle objections on CJIS compliance, data security, AI accuracy, and evidentiary use with confidence and credibility.
-
Feed field insight back to product and marketing: what resonates, what confuses, and what agencies are asking for.
-
Coach SDRs on law enforcement language, agency structure, and what a qualified meeting looks like.
-
Support conferences and trade shows (IACP, NSA, state chiefs' and sheriffs' associations) as a credible subject-matter voice.
Qualifications
-
2–3 years of experience in the law enforcement industry, whether as a sworn officer, investigator, analyst, or dispatcher, or in a public safety technology, training, or consulting role. Investigations experience strongly preferred.
-
Deep working knowledge of how agencies operate: RMS/CAD, case management, evidence, chain of command, and procurement basics.
-
Polished, confident presenter who can command a virtual room of chiefs and detectives back-to-back, all day.
-
Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software; able to run a live demo without losing the audience.
-
Strong energy and stamina for a high-volume meeting calendar.
-
Organized and disciplined about CRM notes and next steps (HubSpot experience a plus).
-
Lives in the Greenville, SC area. This is an in-office role with occasional travel for conferences.
-
Able to pass the background check required to work with criminal justice (CJIS) data.
Nice to Have
-
1–2 years of experience delivering software demos or product presentations.
-
Sales experience, especially in public safety or government technology.
-
Sworn law enforcement experience, especially in investigations or command.
-
Experience as a field training officer, academy instructor, or department trainer.
-
Familiarity with AI, OSINT, or digital evidence tools.
Compensation
85K base salary. Benefits include full health coverage, 401(k), equity, PTO, and FSA.
