Required Education/Experience

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sustainability or related concentration and a minimum of 15 years related experience including oversight of team responsible for air programs management and compliance, with extensive experience interacting and negotiating with regulatory agencies

Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sustainability or related concentration and a minimum of 12 years related experience including oversight of team responsible for air programs management and compliance, with extensive experience interacting and negotiating with regulatory agencies
Relevant Work Experience
-
Strong knowledge and understanding of environmental (air compliance), climate, and emerging air quality regulations/technologies, as well as experience working with regulatory agencies, required.
-
Ability to evaluate future regulatory developments, assess business impacts, and develop strategic compliance and mitigation approaches that support Company objectives and the transition to cleaner energy resources, required.

Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and understand the vital importance of personal accountability, required.
-
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers, support staff, regulatory agencies and all levels of management and union, required.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective EH&S programs utilizing data analytics as the core, required.

Demonstrated ability to learn in-house computer systems such as CRS, Maximo and Oracle, required.

Strong supervisory experience and knowledge of administrative procedures, required.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of diverse expertise and ensure team goals are met, required.

Experience managing air emissions allowance programs for utility or similar industry, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
