Full job description
About Conduit Conduit is an AI agent platform purpose-built for hospitality. Hotels, vacation rentals, and resorts deploy our agents across guest-facing communication and internal operations, running millions of workflows a day. Hospitality is 10% of global GDP and it turns on customer experience. Resolving a guest request immediately is most of that experience, and resolving one means moving across several tools and between several people. That coordination is the work, and it is what our agents do. Role: VP of Sales You own revenue at a company where the sales motion already works. Your job is to make it ten times bigger. The ICP is known, the messaging converts, the demo works, and the deal structure holds up in negotiation. You will work in person, in San Francisco, with a seat in every decision about how we sell.
- Own the number. Set and hit quarterly and annual targets, own the forecast, and defend it with the board.
- Codify what already works. Turn what our best reps do instinctively into onboarding, playbooks, call frameworks, and a demo standard. Cut ramp time in half.
- Build the team. Recruit, ramp, and manage AEs and SDRs. Set quotas, territories, and comp plans. Raise the hiring bar and move fast when someone is not working out.
- Run the operating cadence. Pipeline reviews, deal inspection, weekly forecast, quarterly business reviews.
- Fix the leaks. Win rate and stage conversion are where the next step change lives. Find where good pipeline dies and close the gap.
- Sell alongside the team. Enterprise deals, escalations, and customer meetings. You stay in the field.
- Partner with marketing and product. Tell marketing what pipeline you need and what messaging converts. Tell product what is losing deals.
- Expand the surface. Decide where PMS channel partnerships fit and when to stand up a dedicated enterprise segment.
Who you are
- You have built a sales org before. You have taken one from roughly five reps to twenty or more, or from a few million in ARR to eight figures, and you know which parts break at each stage.
- You scale what works instead of rebuilding it. You have walked into real traction and made it bigger without breaking what made it good.
- You still close. You can run the hardest deal in the pipeline yourself and win it.
- You hire well. You have a bench, a real interview process, and a track record of reps who ramped fast and stayed.
- You are rigorous about the number. Your forecasts are accurate, you inspect deals rather than accept summaries, and you know your conversion rates at every stage.
- You can sell a category that is still forming. Buyers are learning what an AI agent can do while they evaluate it, so the pitch is part education, and the competitive set changes every quarter.
- Vertical SaaS experience is a strong plus. Hospitality tech or proptech.
- Experience. 8+ years in B2B SaaS sales, including 3+ years leading a quota-carrying team.
Compensation and Benefits $260,000 to $320,000 OTE, plus meaningful equity. Reports to the CEO.
