SUMMARY: Maxim Healthcare in Reno, NV is looking for passionate Registered Nurses (RN) to help with our Visit Care patients on Saturdays and/or Sundays in the North Reno/Sparks area. Visit care shifts specialize in approximately 1 hour visits, working with adult patients in group homes and consist of a g-tube feeding, medication administration, and a full head to toe assessment. Our current shifts on Saturdays and Sundays would be full time with a start of 6AM. We also offer a few part time options for these visits as well. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices. Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation). Current PPD or Chest X-Ray. Current BLS card. One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patients condition. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
