The Senior Financial Analyst, Home Solar & Storage, provides financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical support. You will partner with business group leaders, corporate finance teams, and functional leaders to provide relevant insights that inform financial performance and support strategic decision-making. You will consolidate financial results, develop long-range plans, and enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:

Support the annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processes for the Home Solar & Storage business.

Complete month end activities and reporting for the Home Solar & Storage P&L including topline, margin, operating expenses, EBITDA analysis as well as balance sheet support.

Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis comparisons to several scenarios with explanations and financial drivers.

Develop executive-level financial presentations and supporting exhibits for senior leadership reviews.

Review and present financial results to key business stakeholders on a monthly basis with prepared variance analysis.

Provide meaning insights, recommendations and sensitivity analysis based on performance drivers, financial results and latest trends.

Partner with business unit owners to understand the latest strategic initiatives and align the forecast to the latest business direction.

Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardization of reporting processes and support implementation efforts.
Minimum Job Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
-
3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
-
Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
-
Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
-
Knowledge of month-end accruals and financial reporting processes.
-
Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis.
-
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Job Requirements:
-
Experience managing a business unit P&L.
-
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
-
Manufacturing industry experience.
-
Experience working for a publicly traded company.
-
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results.
-
Understanding of GAAP and financial compliance principles.
