The Role We're looking for a pulmonologist who wants to build better tools for pulmonary care. In this Senior Product Manager role, you'll use your firsthand clinical experience to own one or more care pathways in our Pulmonary suite—from understanding the problem in clinic to testing solutions with clinicians and bringing them into use. The focus starts with COPD, AATD, and broader pulmonary clinic workflows, including asthma, within a portfolio that also includes incidental pulmonary nodules and lung cancer screening. Some of this work is live with customers; some is still being built and validated. We welcome pulmonologists moving from clinical practice into product, as well as those already working in product management or digital health. You do not need to have held a product management title. What matters is firsthand knowledge of pulmonary care and a track record of improving clinical workflows, implementing clinical software, or leading digital health initiatives. Reporting to the Pulmonary product leader, you'll own your pathways end to end: defining customer problems, setting priorities and roadmap, developing requirements, setting success measures, and driving the work through launch and adoption. You'll partner with our Clinical team and CMO so decisions are clinically sound and evidence-informed. This is a hands-on product ownership role, not a clinical advisory position.
What You'll Do
-
Own one or more pulmonary care pathways end to end, translating guidelines and evidence into patient criteria, care gap logic, and workflow design.
-
Lead discovery and site visits with pulmonary care teams and KOLs, and turn what you learn into prioritized problems and recommendations.
-
Develop requirements with our product and engineering teams, set success measures, and drive cross-functional follow-through, surfacing dependencies and blockers early.
-
Stay with products after go-live: identify barriers to use, partner with Customer Success, Implementation, Design, and Engineering to fix them, and use feedback and usage data to guide improvements.
-
Lead clinical investigation and resolution of customer issues alongside our customer-facing teams, and partner with Clinical and the CMO on claims, validation, and evidence.
-
Prototype and test ideas with clinicians using design and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
Qualifications
-
MD/DO with completed specialty training in pulmonary medicine and medical licensure, active or previously held.
-
3+ years of clinical practice in pulmonary medicine. Outpatient pulmonary experience is strongly preferred, including longitudinal COPD and asthma management, testing, referrals, follow-up, and care-team coordination.
-
Product management or digital health experience, or a track record of improving clinical workflows, implementing clinical software, or leading digital health initiatives. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
-
Structured problem-solving, clear writing, and a record of driving work to completion across teams.
-
Working knowledge of pulmonary guidelines and how care pathways run inside health systems.
-
Familiarity with EHR workflows - Epic experience preferred
-
Curiosity about AI products and willingness to prototype and test ideas yourself.
Bonus Qualifications
-
Experience running a COPD, asthma, or AATD program, or an incidental nodule or lung cancer screening program.
-
Experience with clinical AI validation or FDA CDS guidance.
-
Experience with pharma or life sciences partners in respiratory disease.
How We Think About Product Great healthcare products start with the patient and succeed by understanding the people who deliver their care. Clinical credibility earns a product its first use; follow-through keeps it in use. We want someone who knows respiratory care from practice and stays with a product until it works in the clinic. Above all, you should be motivated by our mission to increase access to lifesaving treatments and improve care for people with respiratory disease. Why should you join us?
-
If you are looking to make an impact, we are mission-driven and are making a difference in peoples’ lives every day.
-
If you want to be a part of an amazing team , our people are the heart of everything we do.
-
If you are a self-starter and naturally motivated, our work is driven by curiosity, innovation and team collaboration which allows us to leverage our skills immeasurably.
