General Description:
Reporting to a Director, GVAP Hematology, the person in this role drives the global value, access, pricing, and reimbursement launch-readiness for an assigned asset — initially in one or more of its early indications, and later potential future pipeline indications — across geographies. The Associate Director translates pivotal evidence and the competitive landscape into a differentiated global access and pricing tactics as well as country-ready toolkits that enable local affiliates to secure timely reimbursement and optimal patient access at launch and across the lifecycle. S/he/they will maintain coordination with other BeOne Hematology portfolio leads whose assets share the same or similar indications and will collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams incl. HEOR, Medical, commercial, clinical development and regulatory as well as seek input and alignment with affiliate teams to develop strategy and access toolkits to optimize the assets reimbursement and pricing potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Market Access and Value Strategy Development:

Develop and help lead the global market access and reimbursement strategy across lead and potential future pipeline indication, aligned to pivotal evidence and relevant comparators.

Support development of inputs (GVAP perspective) that inform asset lifecycle planning, indication sequencing, and evidence prioritization to maximize long-term access, reimbursement, and portfolio value; provide input to governance and oversight bodies as delegated.

Translate regional and affiliate payer insights into actionable recommendations for clinical development, evidence generation, pricing, access strategy, and commercialization planning.

Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate access and payer requirements into the development process — influencing trial design, endpoints, and evidence generation to meet payer needs.
Access Toolkits & Payer Material s
- Build country-ready access toolkits in close partnership with HEOR — global value dossiers, budget-impact and cost-effectiveness frameworks, and payer communication materials aligned to pivotal evidence and comparators.
Launch & Access Readiness (project execution):

Support EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) strategy and dossier development in close collaboration with HEOR, GVAP JCA coordinators, and the wider cross-functional team.

Track access milestones, evidence needs, and deliverables against the launch plan; flag risks and dependencies to the Director.
Cross-functional & Affiliate Support

Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for regional and affiliate teams on access and pricing deliverables — fulfilling requests, sharing materials, and training teams on the toolkits.

Coordinate and align deliverables across Pricing, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, and Clinical Development.

Feed affiliate and payer insights back to the Director to inform strategy and evidence decisions
Market Insights
- Monitor the competitive, pricing, HTA, and policy landscape (including BTK-class dynamics and EU HTA / JCA developments), translating changes into actionable updates to strategy and toolkits.
Education Required:

Undergraduate science degree required.

Post-graduate science degrees (PhD, PharmD, MD) and/ or MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health economics, pharmacy, health policy, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MSc, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or MBA) strongly preferred with 8+ years of biopharmaceutical experience, with a substantial portion in global / region / country value, access, pricing, and reimbursement roles.

Demonstrated expertise in HTA processes and payer systems across key markets (e.g., G-BA / IQWiG, NICE, HAS) and the US payer environment (IRA / MFN awareness a plus).

Experience building global value dossiers, HTA / EU HTA JCA submission content, and payer value evidence in partnership with HEOR.

Working knowledge of global or major-market pricing strategy, IRP / reference-pricing management, and price / revenue scenario modelling for specialty or oncology / hematology products.

Strong understanding of pivotal-trial evidence interpretation and comparator / competitive assessment in oncology or hematology.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives and to influence without direct authority in a matrixed, global organisation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
In-country, regional, or affiliate market access, pricing, reimbursement, or HTA experience, with direct exposure to payer decision-making and reimbursement processes.

Launch experience in oncology / hematology, ideally including EU JCA launches.
-
HEOR fluency (budget-impact and cost-effectiveness modelling) sufficient to partner effectively and quality-check deliverables.
Location & Ways of Working
- This role can be based in Switzerland (Basel area) or performed US-remote with a strong preference for EST. International travel is expected to support cross-functional and regional collaboration. Working hours and time-zone overlap will be agreed to enable effective partnership across global and regional teams.
Travel:
- 15% of time.
