Full job description

Shift: 5:00 AM -- 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday ** ** General Description: Packer personnel package parts according to customer specifications. The packer reports to the Paint and Pack Supervisor. Responsibilities: - Support and follow the Company Safety Programs - Support and follow Quality & Environmental Programs - Removing parts from paint line hooks - Packing parts - Loading parts into racks and bins - Adding customer specifications to packaging or packaging materials - Detecting product defects - Repair banders when required - Ensuring quality requirements are met - Performing minor salvage and repair - Hanging parts on hooks - Hanging proper hooks for parts to be painted - Sorting parts by type - Removing unpainted parts from racks or bins - Perform all other worked as deemed necessary by supervision Preferred Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted - Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting motions - Able to stand for extended periods - Knowledge of hanging patterns - Knowledge of hook types []{style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-f "}
