As a Security Patrol Driver Retail Parking Lot Access Control in Santa Ana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.

• Monitor for security-related concerns such as unauthorized access, theft-related activity, property damage, and hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.

• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and incident documentation while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
