Full job description
Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) | Social Skills Groups + In-Home ABA Company: SenseSational Learning Group Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Available | Mornings & Evenings (some afternoons) Location: Hybrid: our Okemos Hub once a week, plus homes and community sites across Lansing, Okemos, Mason, Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, MI Pay: $20-$23 per hour (depending on experience)
1:1 sessions change a kid's day. Groups change how a whole community sees each other. Ever watched a child light up because a peer really got them? That's the magic you'll help create! We're hiring RBTs and Behavior Technicians with a 40-hour RBT training certificate for a week full of variety: one day supporting peer social skills groups at our new Okemos Hub, and the rest in homes and the community with 1:1 play-based ABA. We're a BCBA-owned, neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Your week:
-
One day at our Hub supporting peer social groups
-
1:1 ABA in homes and the community the rest of the week
-
Follow BCBA-designed plans, track data, and carry skills between group and home
You're our person if you:
-
Are reliable, punctual, and rarely cancel (kids, families, and groups count on you)
-
Give one month's notice for long-term schedule changes
-
Thrive with coaching and strive to do better every week
-
Want a long-term home with room to grow
-
Have your 40-hour RBT training done (or will finish before you start)
-
Have experience with children (camps, classrooms, and youth programs are a plus), reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and can lift 50 lbs
Why you'll love it here: Paid training. We cover your RBT exam and application fees. Mileage reimbursement. Real BCBA mentorship. Hub access for team connection. A small team where your voice matters. We promote from within and support RBTs on the path to BCBA. Your supervision can lead toward BCaBA/BCBA roles.
What to expect: Interviews include a short role-play and reference check.
Ready to help kids build real friendships? Apply today! Rolling review and quick replies for dependable, growth-minded candidates.
We welcome neurodivergent applicants and people of all backgrounds. Applicants must be 18+ to meet regulatory, background check, and BACB eligibility requirements.
