Full job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a critical member of our Imaging Supply Chain team, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering and flawless operational execution. In this role you will strategically shape our supply base, negotiate high-value agreements, and ensure critical components are delivered on time to support next-generation defense technologies. We operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where cross-functional agility is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • End-to-End Procurement Ownership: Drive the complete, cradle-to-grave procurement lifecycle—from early engineering requirements and purchase order execution to invoice resolution with finance.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify, evaluate, and select best-in-class suppliers for complex technical components.

  • Commercial Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, lead times, and master service agreements (MSAs) while actively identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

  • Supply Base Strategy & Health: Analyze market trends, benchmark supplier performance, and optimize our Approved Supplier List (ASL) through strategic expansion or consolidation.

  • Operational Execution & Issue Resolution: Proactively mitigate supply chain risks, lead cross-functional projects to hit quality and delivery KPIs, and quickly resolve downstream receiving or accounting discrepancies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in technical procurement, material planning, or direct supply chain management (aerospace/defense or hardware manufacturing experience is a plus).

  • Hands-on experience navigating and managing workflows within modern ERP and PLM systems; comfort reading technical drawings, specifications, or Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and delivering quantifiable cost savings.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action; ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with an innate ability to build trust across both internal engineering teams and external vendor executives.
