If you’re ready to learn, grow and make an impact in fintech, we’d love to meet you.

About The Role

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, targeting regional and community banks through proactive outreach, cold calling, and strategic prospecting. You’ll lead with curiosity, resilience, and discipline—creating opportunities where none existed and converting them into long‑term client relationships. Success in this role comes from high outbound activity, strong discovery skills, and consistent pipeline generation, paired with the ability to close complex, consultative deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, referrals, and industry networking
  • Build, manage, and continuously replenish a healthy sales pipeline with a strong emphasis on net‑new logos
  • Initiate high‑volume, high‑quality outreach to targeted regional and community banks
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover pain points and position FIS payments solutions as strategic enablers
  • Own the full sales cycle—from first cold call through negotiation and close
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of FIS products, payments technology, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with internal partners to structure solutions, pricing, and proposals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to senior bank stakeholders
  • Negotiate and close deals aligned with customer needs and FIS delivery capabilities
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • Represent FIS at industry events and conferences to expand market presence

What You Bring

  • Experience selling credit and debit issuing solutions into regional and community banks
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of success in outbound, cold‑calling sales environments
  • Demonstrated ability to self‑source opportunities and build pipeline independently
  • Strong understanding of financial services, payments technology, and banking operations
  • Exceptional communication, discovery, and objection‑handling skills
  • Willingness to travel as required

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Familiarity with account analysis and billing software
  • Active involvement in banking or payments industry trade groups
  • Confidence engaging senior decision‑makers and navigating complex buying groups
  • High level of resilience, discipline, and motivation in a quota‑driven role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to align solutions with client needs
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure
