CAD Modeling Analyst

Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (On-site)Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required

KBR is seeking a highly motivated CAD Modeling Analyst to support mission-critical intelligence and technical analysis efforts at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The selected candidate will develop highly detailed, interactive 3D CAD models of foreign aerospace, defense, and weapons systems for integration into advanced analytic and visualization toolsets.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside intelligence analysts, engineers, software developers, and mission partners to create innovative modeling solutions that directly support national security objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and maintain accurate 3D CAD models for intelligence analysis, research, and operational applications.

  • Create detailed geometric representations of aerospace, military, and technical systems from a variety of intelligence data sources.

  • Integrate CAD models into analytic, visualization, simulation, and training environments.

  • Partner closely with government customers to identify modeling requirements and develop solutions supporting mission priorities.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intelligence analysts, software engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.

  • Support research and development initiatives through rapid prototyping and model generation.

  • Ensure model quality, accuracy, interoperability, and adherence to established standards.

  • Coordinate with mission partners and external organizations to support collaborative intelligence efforts.

  • Present technical findings and modeling approaches to internal and government stakeholders.

  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced classified environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, Architecture, Visualization, CAD Design, or related technical discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing 3D CAD models, digital engineering products, or technical visualizations.

  • Proficiency with one or more of the following tools:

  • SolidWorks

  • NX

  • AutoCAD

  • Blender

  • Maya

  • 3ds Max

  • Rhino

  • ZBrush

  • SketchUp

  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, engineering documentation, schematics, or imagery to build accurate 3D models.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, NASIC, NGA, NRO, or other national security organizations.

  • Knowledge of aerospace systems, aircraft, missiles, space systems, air defense systems, or military equipment.

  • Experience with photogrammetry, LiDAR, reality capture, or imagery-derived modeling.

  • Familiarity with digital engineering practices and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

  • Experience working with classified intelligence products and technical data.

  • Understanding of 3D rendering, animation, simulation, gaming engines, or immersive visualization technologies.

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar visualization platforms.

  • Python, C#, or scripting experience to automate modeling workflows.
