One of our thriving international companies is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional or recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while gaining exposure to the broader business. The Staff Accountant should be curious, eager to learn, and interested in understanding how the accounting function supports the overall business. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, takes initiative, and is excited about growing their skills and career alongside the company. The ideal individual will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, prepare bank & credit card reconciliations, maintain fixed assets, prepare financial reports, review capital expenditure schedules, and reconcile inventory as needed. This Staff Accountant should be organized, analytical, and capable to managing multiple accounting responsibilities while meeting deadlines.

Everyday Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts and supporting financial records.

• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.

• Prepare and record journal entries to support monthly and year-end close activities.

• Assist with financial reporting and provide documentation for internal and external audits.

• Maintain organized accounting files and ensure transactions are properly documented.

• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant will preferably have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:

• 2+ years of AP/AR/GL experience

• QuickBooks Online REQUIRED

• SAP a plus, any ERP preferred

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
