CHORE WORKER Position Summary The Chore Worker assists consumers with household tasks that may be difficult for them to safely perform independently. Chore services help maintain a safe, sanitary, and functional home environment. Primary Responsibilities ? Perform household cleaning ? Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors ? Clean kitchens and bathrooms ? Remove household trash ? Wash dishes ? Organize household areas ? Assist with decluttering ? Change bed linens ? Perform laundry-related tasks when authorized ? Complete heavier household tasks included in the service authorization ? Assist with maintaining safe walkways and living areas ? Identify and report potential safety hazards ? Follow the consumer?s authorized service plan ? Complete required documentation and EVV when applicable ? Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct Qualifications ? Previous housekeeping, cleaning, home care, or related experience preferred ? Ability to perform household and cleaning duties safely ? Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical household tasks ? Dependable and punctual ? Good organizational skills ? Ability to follow instructions ? Respectful and professional when working in consumers? homes ? Ability to work independently ? Reliable transportation preferred ? Smartphone access for scheduling/EVV when applicable ? Successful completion of required MetroCare employment screening and orientation Schedule Flexible scheduling is available based on consumer needs. Assignments may include: ? Part-time ? Per diem ? Weekdays ? Daytime hours Pay Rate $20- $21 per hour
