HELP FAMILIES CONFIDENTLY CHOOSE THE CARE THEY NEED
We’re looking for someone with the heart of a caregiver and the confidence to guide families through important decisions. At Care To Stay Home, you’ll listen carefully, assess needs, earn families’ trust, and help them feel comfortable committing to services that genuinely improve their quality of life. We are a locally owned, family-operated home care agency serving Spokane and surrounding communities. This role utilizes daytime office, client-home, and community work; participation in the office manager on-call rotation.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll guide prospective clients from inquiry through assessment, enrollment, service startup, and their first 60 days of care, followed by a documented handoff to ongoing care management.
Where You’ll Focus & What You’ll Do
- Conduct thoughtful client assessments, identifying needs, preferences, risks, goals, and when professional input is needed.
- Explain care options clearly, answer questions, address concerns without pressure, and help families make informed decisions.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, follow up consistently, and guide appropriate service enrollment.
- Coordinate with scheduling and care management to prepare caregivers and ensure excellent service starts.
- Stay in close contact with clients and families through their first 60 days, address concerns, and complete a documented handoff.
- Track assessments, enrollments, service starts, client satisfaction, and early retention. Participate in the assigned on-call rotation; routine office support is limited so client services remain the priority.
What You Bring
- At least five years of experience in healthcare, home care, hospice, senior living, or related senior services. This experience need not be recent or consecutive.
- Strong assessment and care coordination skills, sound judgment, and accurate documentation.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and follow-through. Experience in sales, admissions, business development, or other customer-facing work—inside or outside healthcare—is valued.
- A genuine commitment to caring for people, building trust, and helping families feel confident in choosing appropriate care, without pressure.
- Organization, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple prospective and new clients.
