Description

Our client is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead key forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis activities for their CSRA facility. This role will work closely with site leadership, operations, and broader business stakeholders to turn financial data into practical insights that support growth, profitability, and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex results into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the annual planning cycle by partnering with department leaders to gather assumptions, develop detailed budgets, and align submissions with broader business expectations.

  • Create and refine financial models that project revenue, margin, and operating performance using production plans, material usage, labor costs, yields, and overhead assumptions.

  • Evaluate shifts in sales activity and manufacturing schedules, explaining performance trends and highlighting the financial impact of operational changes.

  • Monitor product-level profitability and identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and overall financial performance.

  • Deliver monthly analysis of profit and loss results, comparing actual performance against budget and forecast while identifying key drivers behind variances.

  • Prepare short-term, annual, and long-range forecasts that support decision-making across finance, operations, and leadership teams.

  • Produce departmental and cost center reporting with clear root-cause analysis and practical recommendations to address unfavorable spending or performance trends.

  • Oversee cash flow forecasting by collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand timing, risks, and funding needs related to ongoing business activity and projects.

  • Compile monthly reporting packages, consolidate input from business partners, and maintain accurate documentation to support internal reporting requirements and ad hoc analysis.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Adaptive Insights or similar planning tools is valuable.

  • Ability to work effectively within a large, complex, or multinational business environment.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with operational leaders and translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.

  • Track record of improving processes, strengthening financial visibility, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
