Job Description:
-
Accurately performs cashier duties, payroll deduction transactions, and cash drawer reconciliation.
-
Orders, receives, and maintains inventory, including processing and tagging new merchandise.
-
Facilitates system upgrades to support operational efficiency.
-
Merchandises products and maintains a safe, orderly, and customer-friendly environment.
-
Assists customers with purchases and inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
-
Prepares, coordinates, and advertises sales to promote store activity.
-
Trains Volunteers in daily operations and customer service.
-
Prepares bi-weekly payroll deduction for submission to Payroll.
-
Reconciles monthly credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy.
-
Provides monthly purchase activity reports to the Foundation Director.
-
Actively markets and promotes the gift shop to increase annual sales and net profit.
-
Maintains compliance with safety standards and store organization protocols.
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
