How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Prepare IV and chemotherapy admixtures, process order entry, perform peer audits, ensure quality assurance with barcode scanning, and manage controlled substance oversight and billing.

• Serve as technical resource for pharmacy automation technology, including IV workflows, carousels, automated dispensing cabinets, compounding, and robotics troubleshooting.

• Deliver advanced cross-training for buyers, general staff, retail pharmacy, and the operating room satellite.

• Onboard, train, and mentor new hires across pharmacy operations.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

• Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
