Description
Senior Accountant
Location: Pasadena, TX
A growing company in Pasadena is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong general accounting experience and a background in project-based accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, analyzing project costs, and improving accounting processes.
Responsibilities

Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Support project accounting, including work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting.

Analyze project costs, margins, and financial variances.
-
Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly financial statement preparation.

Partner with operations to ensure accurate project cost tracking and reporting.

Support audits, internal controls, and accounting process improvements.
Requirements
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

4+ years of accounting experience,

Exposure to WIP, job costing, or percentage-of-completion accounting.

Strong Excel skills required.

ERP Experience
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
