Remote, United States | Full-time W-2

Base: $100,000–$115,000 target; up to $125,000 for exceptional relevant experience, plus up to a 10% bonus.

  • Agency-bill refunds, carrier payables, exceptions, and producer commission calculations.

  • Offshore accounting support, documented processes, and quality checks.

  • Carrier setup for acquired agencies and improvements to reconciliation tools and workflows.

The CFO retains GAAP, technical accounting, and FP&A. This is a hands-on role with real ownership of insurance accounting operations.

What you bring

  • An accounting degree and at least three years of relevant insurance agency accounting experience; five to seven years is preferred.

  • Hands-on depth in at least one of commission statement reconciliation, agency bill, or producer commissions; experience in two is especially valuable.

  • Evidence of owning work, resolving discrepancies, and improving processes.

Applied Epic accounting experience is a strong advantage. Offshore team coordination and multi-agency experience are helpful; prior management experience is optional. Ascend, IVANS, and QuickBooks Online are additional pluses. A CPA is not required.
